Over a long period, we proved our worth and embarked on
a number of successful workshops, seminars and training on various
subject matters including:
- Improvement of food production through Alley farming.
- Multiplication of improved plantain and banana hybrids.
- Processing of hybrid plantain/banana.
- Massive development of aquaculture.
Over the years, the co-operative has
successfully distributed improved
varieties of crops and modern Agricultural materials within its
environ.
Having established the Coastal Community Development Initiative;
we got engaged as a Micro-Finance Institution (MFI) and offered
the following services in the area of Micro Financing.
1. Savings and Loans Disbursement.
2. Training of crop farmers, fishermen and bee-keepers in modern
farming/fishing
techniques
Coastal Community Development Initiative is collaborating
with Sula Lanka Nigeria Limited, the foreign experts on Inland
Shrimps Aquaculture and deep sea fishing.
The Shrimps aquaculture will be replicated in all the Coastal
States and beyond in view of its vast job creation capacity and
income generating potentials. |
